Christians grieve. Jesus himself wept at the grave of his friend Lazarus before raising him up to new life. Based on his book, Embracing God's Future without Forgetting the Past (Fortress 2019) Pastor Mike will lead a Lenten bible study on loss, grief and finding new life. Pastor Mike spent fifteen years teaching courses in death and dying, grief and growth at the university level for fifteen years, as well as leading workshops, retreats and speaking at conferences about how we, as people of faith, work through experiences of loss.

There will be a soup supper starting at 6:30PM, with the study starting at 7:00PM
